Grace Boatfield

Senior Sustainability Consultant

As a certified BREEAM New Construction, BREEAM International New Construction and BREEAM Non-Domestic Refurbishment & Fit-Out assessor, I provide comprehensive support across a broad spectrum of BREEAM assessments to optimise environmental performance of new build and refurbishment assets in the UK and beyond.

My expertise extends to Post Occupancy Evaluations, ensuring ongoing performance alignment with design objectives.

I also advise on sustainable residential development through the Home Quality Mark and BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment schemes.

Additionally, I conduct Circular Economy Assessments, guiding clients to optimise building lifespan and residual value from the inception of the design process to completion through principals of waste reduction, material reclamation, and pollution prevention. This directly supports climate change mitigation efforts, as underscored by the mandatory Circular Economy Statement requirement for major planning applications.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick, focusing on the environmental aspects of biology, which I apply to my current work in sustainability and green building certification.

Outside of my professional pursuits, I have a strong passion for music. I enjoy attending live music events, playing the bass and drums (albeit somewhat questionably!), and dancing.
