Post Occupancy Evaluation

With the performance gap between predicted and actual building performance being well reported, and the increasing environmental standards and improved air tightness required within new buildings, property owners, managers and end users increasingly require Post Occupancy Evaluations (PoE) to review the scheme’s actual performance against the modelling undertaken at the design stages. PoE are often also required in support of BREEAM NC assessments and take place at the end of the 12-month defects period.

Through our historical on-site residential monitoring programme, SRE can draw on over four years of data and experience in order to advise and support clients in reviewing their scheme’s operational performance.

SRE can undertake PoE on residential and commercial developments in support of BREEAM or client requirements through analysing the technical and environmental performance of the scheme, including interviewing and facilitating workshops with tenants and building users.
