The construction of a purpose-built 3-storey care home, previously known as Bordon Care Home, adjacent to the redevelopment of Quebec Barracks at Bordon EcoTown.

The building provides 18 en-suite bedrooms, along with communal dining and cooking, activity spaces and a hydrotherapy pool. SRE advised OAA Developments Ltd on the sustainability and energy aspects of the scheme within the wider context of Bordon’s Ecotown requirements, ultimately completing Dynamic Energy Modelling of the building, Part L2A compliance and EPC.

By informing the early design stage process, SRE was able to ensure key sustainability measures were adopted to address outline BREEAM performance standards along with increased energy efficiency and on-site renewable energy generation in this bespoke design.

"My interaction with SRE was brilliant – they were knowledgeable, professional and very happy to help with my enquiry. I required 10 EPC’s, for a new development within Bordon and SRE talked me through the entire process and made it immediately understandable and actionable. They quickly provided the required EPC’s, which was an enormous benefit to us. I would certainly recommend SRE and will be consulting them myself in the future."
