The Nest Climbing Centre offers a unique and diverse range of services, including a bouldering wall, gym, fitness studio, café, and workspace as part of the redevelopment of what was once the Material Store for the Old Vinyl Factory in Hayes. SRE worked on the Fit Out of the internal space for The Nest, conducting Dynamic Energy Modelling to calculate the SBEM, BRUKL and EPC for the retail space. SRE also assisted the development in addressing BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standards for Refurbishment and Fit Out. SRE was able to provide both energy and sustainability advice early in the Fit-Out design of an exciting, new and diverse retail space as part of the rejuvenation of the Old Vinyl Factory site.

"SRE were a fantastic asset to our team in working through a complex and unique fit-out for a climbing wall as part of a larger development. We worked with three different members of the team and each of them was proactive, approachable and efficient. They worked tirelessly to help us negotiate the demands of the Refurbishment and Fit Out components of BREEAM; they were also accommodating to the environmental understanding of the need of our more unique Fit Out."
