Wakefield Road development is a small four-storey, mixed-use scheme in the centre of Richmond and consists of 11 apartments and ground floor offices. The building maximises the use of a very constrained brownfield site without compromising on either the contemporary design, internal space layouts or the relationship with the neighbouring buildings. SRE supported the scheme through planning and undertook the environmental assessments and certification to achieve CSH Level 3 and a BREEAM NC ‘Very Good’ rating.

As a result, the mixed-use scheme includes roof mounted PV and air source heat pumps to address the local planning policy, as well as a green roof as part of its wider sustainability measures.

"SRE gave us both pre-planning and detailed construction advice on this project. Always sensible and pragmatic in their approach, their experience has helped us to provide some of the ‘greenest’ homes in Richmond/Twickenham/Kingston."
