A landmark mixed-use development built over one of the main routes into Southampton and made up of between 5 and 16 storeys. Southampton City Gateway houses a GP Surgery, student accommodation and retail units and incorporates living walls and on-site centralised CHP. SRE undertook the BREEAM Assessments for the three building uses and Post Construction Reviews. The scheme achieved an ‘Excellent’ rating for the GP Surgery and ‘Very Good’ rating for the Student accommodation and retail units, as required by Southampton City Planning Policy and NHS Trust funding standards.
