The refurbishment and extension of the former Portman Hotel into a new 249-room hotel with a restaurant, ballroom and meeting facilities. Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is a collaboration between London + Regional Hotels and Nobu Hospitality.
SRE undertook BREEAM New Construction 2014 Pre-Assessments to advise on achieving a ‘Very Good’ rating to comply with Westminster City Plan sustainable policies. SRE also advised on enhancing the communal spaces, increasing thermal efficiency, and improving fire safety and landscaping.
As the BREEAM AP on the project, SRE also advised on sustainability measures during the design and construction phases of the new hotel extension in order to achieve the target BREEAM rating.
