A new 378-bedroom student accommodation facility with office space and community facilities at Mouslecoomb Way, Brighton. The regeneration of the site from a waste management facility will provide student housing and over 1,000 sqm of employment space.
SRE are fulfilling a BREEAM AP role to ensure the smooth delivery of BREEAM New Construction 2018. The scheme includes the implementation of sustainable transport measures, the use of efficient water appliances and low and zero carbon technologies. SRE’s specialist consultants have also carried out a Materials Life Cycle Analysis and an Energy & Sustainability Statement to meet all sustainability and energy requirements for planning policy compliance.
Thermal Comfort Analysis and Internal Daylight Analysis have also been completed to address overheating risks and thermal comfort conditions of spaces, and ensure good levels of daylight to support the heath, wellbeing and productivity of building occupants.
