North Stoneham Park is a multi-million mixed-use development, delivering over 1,100 new homes and community facilities within historic parkland in Stoneham, Eastleigh. The project is currently being built by Highwood Group and VIVID as part of Eastleigh Borough Council’s housing plan for the next 5 years.

The scheme will also deliver a new Local Centre, which includes a community centre, retail and office space, and a school. SRE are working with Highwood and the project team to support the design stage of the Local Centre and deliver the high sustainability standards required by Eastleigh Borough Council.

SRE is undertaking the role of BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP) to deliver BREEAM New Construction 2014 for the retail, office & bespoke scheme. A Sustainability & Energy Statement and Low Zero Carbon Feasibility Study has been provided to ensure the Local Centre will provide modern, resource efficient, sustainable homes and commercial units, with all commercial spaces meeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standards and PV providing a greater than 10% CO2 offset.

SRE’s energy consultants have provided SAP modelling for 26 residential units, and SBEM for commercial space at the Local Centre to ensure compliance with Building Regulations.

"We have been appointing SRE as BREEAM/Code assessors since 2010 and value their constructive input and advice throughout our various schemes progress. They provide a very personal service which complements Highwood’s approach."
