Kingston Rehabilitation Centre

Client:

BSP Projects

Main contractor:

BSP Projects

Architect:

Sherlock Boswell Architects

A 36-bed rehabilitation centre providing communal dining and lounges along with a therapy gym, treatment rooms and hydrotherapy pool for residents and outpatients on the former Beaufort Lodge site.

SRE was brought into the project by the main contractor during the latter stages of the construction process to address ongoing issues around the delivery of the BREEAM NC 2014 Assessment, which was a requirement of the planning permission. Despite the challenging circumstances and stages of the project, as a direct result of SRE’s involvement and support, the scheme has achieved a score of over 70% (excellent rating threshold) in BREEAM and a final certification of ‘Very Good’.

"SRE delivered professionalism and excellent service throughout the project. They highlighted any problems early on and worked with us to ensure that these were mitigated in a timely and cost-effective manner."
