An award-winning £17m 98-unit residential scheme on a green field site in West End, Eastleigh, comprising of a mix of social rent, shared ownership and private sale units.
SRE provided pre-planning advice and building performance modelling to ensure the scheme complied with local planning policy, and also delivered 6 fully certified Passivhaus dwellings to ensure ‘exemplar’ standards were met.
SRE ensured the site incorporated ecological enhancements, sustainable transport measures, excellent fabric performance and on-site renewable energy. These excellent sustainability measures ensured that the scheme robustly addressed the required environmental standards during planning and that it was shortlisted for the Best Large Scheme in Planning at the NHA Awards 2018.
