The refurbishment and extension of existing office buildings in Finchley to provide 23 new apartments and a 128-bed hotel. The apartments are being built to achieve BREEAM Ecohomes ‘Excellent’, and the Hotel to achieve BREEAM New Construction 2011 ‘Very Good’. As a ‘change of use’ development SRE advised on how to deliver the BREEAM requirements which included the use of individual gas boilers, green roofs and enhanced fabric standards. The development is exceeding its requirements.
