The nursery forms part of a mixed-use development that replaced a derelict pub in a residential area south of Clapham Junction with a two-floor nursery and private apartments above. SRE provided the BREEAM NC pre-assessment in support of planning and subsequently undertook the BREEAM assessment and Building Regulations Part L2 reports during the construction phase. SRE advised the client on key BREEAM requirements, building performance options and ensured the scheme was certified ‘Very Good’ in line with the local planning requirements. Focusing on the design and specification details SRE was able to ensure all cost-effective credits were adopted and used to achieve the rating.
