SRE is proud to be leading the sustainability efforts, through advising on how to achieve BREEAM 'Excellent' via early-stage guidance, passive design and the incorporation of efficient systems. We compiled an Energy & Water Strategy aimed at reducing energy demand by 63%, integrating renewables and implementing water recycling systems. We have also ensured material optimisation using Life Cycle Analysis, selecting low-carbon, durable materials. We also carried out Thermal Comfort Analysis to inform overheating risk.

Examples of our recommendations include renewable solar energy, efficient water systems including greywater recycling and rainwater harvesting and sustainable transport provision with EV charging and cycling facilities.
