The replacement of Worthing’s old Beach Hotel with a new Whitbread Hotel and private apartments. SRE supported the scheme from the planning stage through to practical completion, advising on and delivering SAP modelling and BREEAM Assessment in response to both the planning requirements and the Whitbread Hotel’s sustainability standards. The development is energy efficient, uses sustainable materials, incorporates living walls and achieved Code Level 3 and BREEAM ‘Good’.
