Max Tankard

As a Sustainability Graduate Trainee, I am responsible for supporting with BREEAM Assessments at SRE, advising clients on how to optimise the environmental performance of new builds and retrofit projects. I also provide general and technical support within SRE's Sustainability Team.

I am a detail-oriented graduate, holding a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Southampton. I have gained an in-depth understanding of environmental policy and guidance for sustainable building practices. Further, I have had broad exposure to Environmental Impact Assessments and have experience in reviewing Environmental Management Systems. My motivation for my dissertation came from analysing the rollout of the new, mandatory, Biodiversity Net Gain policies in planning and development.

Outside of work, I am a creative individual. I enjoy developing my portfolio with sketches and paintings. I love listening to music and looking after my mental and physical health, maintaining my fitness by swimming with my local club.
