The proposed development comprises of 111 residential units over two blocks in Portslade, Brighton.

On behalf of our client, PMC Construction, SRE’s building physics specialists carried out SAP calculations to ensure compliance with Building Regulations Part L1.

Condensation Risk Analysis was provided to address condensation risk associated with external walls, balcony thresholds and typical window/door jambs. Overheating Analysis was also completed in which our specialists assessed thermal comfort measures ensuring thermal conditions within the buildings and associated rooms met the standards set out in CIBSE TM59 and TM52.

Biodiversity within the site was addressed with the recommendation of a ‘green corridor’ of elm trees, hedges, seasonal and native plants lining the site and continuing into the landscaped courtyards.

"We have worked with SRE on over 100 projects since 2009 and it has been an absolute pleasure. From design stage to post completion their proactive approach is always extremely helpful. Most recently they have worked with us on a large residential regeneration development in Portsmouth."
