This project involved the redevelopment of the Institute of Marine Sciences research laboratory at the mouth of Langstone Harbour. Within a limited budget the client provided a modern teaching and laboratory facility on a unique and very exposed site. SRE supported the BREEAM Bespoke assessment through the construction phase and ensured key BREEAM requirements were delivered and a rating of ‘Good’ was achieved as required by planning.
