A mixed-use development of residential units and offices in a compact London site. The unique design incorporates a concrete basement and a timber frame construction above ground which is clad with standing copper and fibre cement. The development is being built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 standards. SRE modelled the design and advised on how to address the stringent local planning policy requirements. As a result, the design incorporates mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, air source heat pumps, solar hot water and 10kWp of photovoltaics. The residential units achieve an 81% improvement in the Dwelling Emission Rate, far in excess of the requirements.

"We’ve been working with SRE for some time and they are by far the most proficient and professional environmental consultants we have used. They have been an active part of the design process, working with us to find workable design strategies rather than prescribing standard solutions. They are also a nice bunch to work with, so highly recommended!"
