A large refurbishment scheme to redevelop 13 commercial units at Cathedral Hill Industrial Estate, Guildford.

SRE has undertaken Whole Life Cycle Carbon Analysis demonstrating embodied and operational carbon emissions for the proposed refurbishment and refit. Our sustainability specialists are working to support the client’s sustainability commitment to achieve Net Zero Carbon wherever possible. In line with the RICS Whole Life Carbon Assessment for the Built Environment forming the basis of this scheme, SRE are proposing renewable technologies and creating operational energy usage reports.

In addition to this, SRE is assessing the scheme under BREEAM RFO. To support this, SRE has provided Internal Daylight Analysis, Sustainability & Energy Statement, Visual Comfort & Reflection Study (Glint and Glare Assessment), Air Quality Report and Indoor Air Quality Plan, SBEM modelling and Thermal Comfort Analysis.

SRE will continue to work on this scheme post construction to ensure all requirements are met.

"SRE have consistently provided sound advice to guide the design team through the BREEAM process at Cathedral Hill Industrial Estate, Guildford.
