One of several new school extensions being undertaken by the client within Portsmouth to meet increased pupil numbers within the region.

SRE undertook the initial BREEAM advice, Energy Modelling and assessment in support of the planning application to address Portsmouth City Council planning policies for achieving an ‘Excellent’ rating. SRE has subsequently supported Neilcott Construction as part of the delivery of the scheme post-planning.

Through early engagement, SRE has not only informed the design process but enabled the scheme to address a range of early stage criteria that has enabled the school extension to be on track for delivering a robust ‘Excellent’ rating.
