A £25m mixed-use development of an Access Self Storage facility with additional serviced office space on a brownfield site in South London. The scheme was required to meet the London Plan requirements for 20% CO2 offset from on-site renewable energy.
SRE supported the planning process with the provision of Sustainability and Energy Statements and advised on the use of a duel fuel heating system (bio fuel and gas), and an air source heat pump to identify deliverable energy options to achieve the required standards. SRE also undertook the Building Regulations, Part L Compliance checks on both the B8 Storage Space and the commercial units.
