Nikita Pevnev

I am an Associate Director within the Building Physics Team at SRE and an experienced sustainability consultant and chartered building services engineer. My background includes leading sustainability, engineering sciences and energy consultancy services on numerous local and international projects, working in collaboration with architects and multi-disciplinary design teams.

I am committed to transforming the built environment in performing environmental analysis, thermal modelling and energy performance, daylight design optimisation, heat network feasibility studies and carbon management plans for Net Zero Roadmaps.

With a background in engineering sciences and architecture, I specialise in facilitating the smart, resilient and sustainable design of buildings by offering strategic input throughout the design process. I bring extensive experience working with national and international clients and my primary role is to provide expert advice to developers and design teams, ensuring projects achieve the highest standards while incorporating value engineering to optimise outcomes.

On sunny weekends, I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking and drinking tea. My two most exciting hobbies are collecting and listing to vinyl and repairing broken ceramics with traditional kintsugi.
