A multi-million housing development of 60 high-quality eco-friendly new houses in Portsmouth known as Ivy Close, has been recognised in the Portsmouth Design Society Awards 2019, winning ‘Best New Build’. The development was built on a brownfield site and to exceptionally high standards of design and sustainability, forming part of the Somerstown & North Southsea Area Action Plan.
Ivy Close has been acknowledged because of its significant positive impact on the city’s affordable housing stock. The judges stand out comment was that the development ‘felt like a village within a city’. We are proud to have worked alongside the project team and congratulate all involved.
